How to Donate Items to the Latvian National Museum of Literature and Music?

The museum enriches its collection with items related to Latvian literary and musical personalities.
If you have photographs, letters, documents, household, work-related, or other items and wish to donate them to the museum, please follow these steps:

1. Contact the museum (see details below) to tell us about the item(s) – provide information about their history and condition. Museum specialists will assess whether the item(s) fit the museum’s collection policy.
2. If museum specialists conclude that the item(s) may complement the collection, a meeting will be arranged.
3. When donating items, documentation will be signed confirming the act of transfer.
4. The final decision on including the item(s) in the museum’s collection is made by the Collection Committee.
