We identify, collect, research, and promote the cultural heritage of Latvian literature and music from its origins to the present day, and we manage collections related to literature, theatre, and music.
Mission
The museum’s mission is to inspire a contemporary understanding of Latvia’s literary and musical heritage and to promote the idea of the museum as a space for new experiences and meaningful conversations.
